Terms and Conditions for FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing

Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions serve as a binding agreement between you, the “Client,” and FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing, including its owners and employees, for the execution of services in exchange for payment for residential or commercial cleaning services.

Water Usage

The Client agrees to provide FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing the right to use an on-site water supply as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior water supply is required, it will incur an additional charge. It is the Client's responsibility to ensure the water supply is on and in working order before our arrival. Additional charges will apply if water is not available.

Courtesy

While FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing is on location and performing work, the Client is responsible for keeping all children, pets, and other individuals away from the work area.

Removal & Replacement of Contents

The removal and replacement of cars, furniture, planters, and any other items are the responsibility of the homeowner. Should FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing need to remove items from the work area, we will not be responsible for any damage, breakage, or storage issues. An additional charge may apply for time and labor devoted to the removal of these items.

Weather & Scheduling

Scheduling in a business that relies on weather conditions can be challenging. Inclement weather may affect scheduling. FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing will strive to minimize scheduling conflicts; however, circumstances beyond our control may affect project start and completion dates. The Client will be notified of any changes.

Risks and Releases of Liability

FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing technicians are fully trained in pressure washing services. While safe techniques are adhered to, damage may still occur to delicate surfaces due to poor maintenance, neglect of the property, and low-grade building materials that do not comply with the Building Code of Australia (BCA). Any areas of concern must be addressed by the homeowner prior to work being carried out. The homeowner assumes all risks and takes responsibility for any damage that occurs due to improper maintenance.

FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing is not responsible for damage due to improperly installed siding, loose shingles/siding, broken/opened windows, improperly sealed windows/doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters, leaders, and improper caulking. Pressure washing, which entails the removal of chalky, gritty, or failing surface materials, may cause faded aspects of vinyl or aluminum to stand out. FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing will not be responsible for such conditions. FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing is not liable for any consequential or incidental damage or for any loss resulting from defects as noted in the agreement. For any concerns, please discuss with management or staff on-site before any work commences.

House Wash Acknowledgement

The Client understands that any blemish, flaw, or existing oxidation will become more prominent after the service has been carried out.

FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing is not responsible for water intrusion. While every effort is made to prevent this from occurring, bad seals around windows/doors and cracks in concrete foundations can make this unavoidable. FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing expects the structures on your property to be in good repair and watertight. This includes, but is not limited to, all electrical services including receptacles and light fixtures. Doors and windows must be watertight, adequately sealed, and closed prior to pressure washing work beginning. FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing is not responsible for damages resulting from water infiltration due to poor or improper installation, grouting issues, maintenance, or repair of electrical-related items or doors/windows. Windows may become water spotted as a result of our services. Window cleaning is NOT included.

Stains

Some stains cannot be removed by pressure cleaning alone. For example, tree sap, artillery fungus, and splatters from stains and paints are materials that cannot be removed by conventional means. The use of biodegradable chemicals may be required.

The appearance of concrete depends on various factors, most linked to when the concrete was initially poured and cured. When concrete with dirt, mold, mildew, algae, and other pollutants and stains is cleaned, it may reveal imperfections that were previously concealed. The Client understands that not all concrete will look the same even on the same driveway, patio, sidewalk, or concrete slab.

FNQ Mowing & Pressure Washing makes every attempt to point these areas out to the Client when quoting the project. In some cases, these stains may not be removable at all.

Invoicing Terms

Full payment of any balance is due within 14 days of completion. An invoice will be sent to the person or company upon completion of the service.

We accept the following payment options:

1 - Cash.

2 - Bank Transfer (EFT).

3 - Card payment via Square.
